Description of the GB-Blades
GB-Blades are protected by patent in more than thirty countries. The proofing and testing procedure was made by professional players from the world ranking, in Switzerland. The development process of these is in the preparation and manufacture phase. The manufacture starts in Switzerland and Hungary.
The education of junior players with GB-Blades has started in Hungary in nearly 30 sports teams (NB I. and Extra Liga).
Detailed description of the GB-Blades
GB-Blades are made in two different versions: Hobby and Competitor. GB-Blades are not distributed in general trade channels, to avoid imitation and illegal copies. They will be distributed exclusively by the Hungarian SORINA BT., with special trademarks. Trustee wholesalers and individual procurers will be served by mail-order service or personal delivery.
We have now seven types of European styled GB-Blades.
The material of GB-Blades: Wide variety (more than 40) of lightweight exotic (Tropical and Mediterranean) woods
The handle of GB-Blades: Both kind of blades are produced with two different handles. - Symmetrical handle profile both for left and right-handed players - Asymmetrical handle profile for professional players (different versions for left and right-handed players)
The size of GB-Blades: Professional variant: 5 different sizes Hobby variant: 2 different sizes The thickness of the blades is 6 mm.
(In case of GB-Blades the size is very important, as the appropriate size in case of shoes.)
The weight of GB-Blades (without rubber): Professional variant (depending on shape and wood type): 88-97 grams Hobby variant: 120-130 grams
The rubber of GB-Blades: At the moment the blades are distributed without rubber. The selection of the appropriate (approved by ITTF) rubber depends on the offers of the big international rubber producers.
